Naprepa varians Walker, 1855
= Naprepa Walker, 1855: 1152 (TS: Naprepa varians Walker, 1855: 1153). Naprepa is a junior homonym of Naprepa Walker, 1855: 1046 (Notodontidae). Trilocha was proposed as the objective replacement name for Naprepa.

Trilocha varians is a widely distributed species in India, including in the Andaman Islands, whereas all the records of Nicobar belong to T. nicobari. Therefore, T. nicobari and T. varians appear to be allopatric, with the former as an endemic to the Nicobar. Trilocha varians lineata Dierl is distributed in Philippinen [The Philippines] (Singh et al. 2021).
