= Mania Treitschke, 1825: 294. Proposed, unnecessarily, as an objective replacement name for Mormo Ochsenheimer, 1816, which Treitschke considered to be a junior homonym of Mormon Illiger, 1811: 283 (Aves). A junior homonym of Mania Hübner, 1821 (Lepidoptera, Uraniidae)
