<i>Stictoptera ochrota</i> Hampson was originally mentioned from Shimla which was under Punjab province at that time. The localities such as Dalhousie, Kullu, Shimla etc. earlier considered in Punjab are now part of Himachal Pradesh state in India. Further, <i>Stictoptera vitiensis</i> Hampson, 1912: 159 from Fiji is probably a race of <i>S. macromma</i> as per Holloway (1985). It was mentioned in the list from Indian Himalaya by Sanyal et al. (2018). Further, confirmation of <i>S. vitiensis</i> from India is needed and not included in this list.
