Remarks
Meyrick (1916–1923b) recorded H. xylotripta from Peshawar which was in North-West India previously but after 1947, Peshawar become the part of Pakistan. So the Indian distribution of this species is doubtful. Although Liu & Wang (2014) reported this species from China, India (without mentioning the exact locality in India), Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand and Park (2004) recorded from Thailand. Further studies on this species in India may apprise the exact distributional record of this species in India.
