Remarks

Apart from this and below mentioned species, there are four other subspecies: <i>T. albonotata angusta</i> Watson, 1957 (Borneo, Sumatra, Malaysia; <i>T. albonotata rotunda</i> Watson, 1957 (Bali, Java); <i>T. albonotata celebesensis</i> Watson, 1957 (Sulawesi); <i>T. alhonotata ferrea</i> (Hampson, 1892) Sri lanka. However, Holloway (1998) considered all the species under <i>T. albonotata</i> without mentioning Syn. Nov., though in distribution he mentioned different subspecies restricted to specific areas.
